The Orange County Ruby Users Group is formed to help developers interesting in learning more about the Ruby programming language and computing platform. It serves the developers of Southern California, particularly those of Orange County. There is no cost to participate. Both novice and expert are welcome to join us. Born in July, with the birth stone of “ruby”, Scott Hodson formed this group in December 2005 due to his growing interest in Ruby and Rails. Unfortunately, he discovered there was no local support group focused on Ruby. Sensing there were others like him he decided to start this group.
All are invited to participate, present topics, and get together and hack Ruby and/or Rails!
