Why Rails Will Never Become Mainstream

Hmm, what do you think? He proposes valid points. One other problem I see with mainstream adoption is that, unlike .NET and Java, Ruby and/or Rails doesn’t have a large horizontal technology comapny, a-la Microsoft or Sun, evangelizing it with people and dollars. It has to stand on its own merits without any hype machines behind it.
